Policy
Privacy
This store is run by Bradley Brunton in Canada, trading as Asakusa Lofi. This page explains exactly what happens to your information when you browse the site or place an order. It is short because the site collects very little.
No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies. Nothing on this site profiles you, follows you to other sites, or is shared with an ad network. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What is stored in your browser
Your basket and your chosen delivery country are saved in your browser's local storage so they survive a refresh. That data stays on your device and is not sent anywhere until you press Checkout. Clearing your browser data removes it. No cookies are set by this site.
What we collect when you order
- Your name, email address, billing address and delivery address
- What you bought, and the amount paid
- Your delivery country, so shipping can be calculated before you pay
We never see or store your card number. Card details are entered on a payment page hosted by Stripe and handled entirely by them.
Who else receives it, and why
- Stripe
- Takes the payment. Receives your name, email, addresses and card details, and acts as an independent controller of that data under its own privacy policy. We only ever see the last four digits of a card.
- Our production and shipping partner
- Receives your name, delivery address and email so your order can be made and posted, and so tracking can be emailed to you. They receive nothing about how you pay.
- Netlify
- Hosts the site. Like any web host they keep short-lived server logs that include your IP address, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to identify you.
That is the entire list. Your information is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone else, and it is never used to send you marketing you did not ask for.
How long it is kept
Order records are kept for as long as needed to handle returns, warranty claims and tax obligations, which in Canada means seven years for records of a sale. Anything not needed for that is not kept.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not legally required to keep it. If you are in the UK or the EU you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable form, and to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in Canada, PIPEDA gives you equivalent access and correction rights.
Email sakaclothing.customerservice@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This store is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be obvious on this page rather than buried.
